1. What is the Dura-Whelp Box made of?

Visual perception is a problem. This is corrugated plastic, not coated cardboard. That is why there is a 3 year guarantee on the box excluding chewing.

You should not judge the box until it is assembled. The walls look flimsy until the puppy rails are in, they frame and strengthen the walls.

9. How is the Dura-Whelp put together?

Only a Philip's head screwdriver is needed. Everything is held together with industrial strength Velcro. The bottom is 1 piece that unfolds and has flaps around the edge. The wall unit is 1 piece that opens up and sits on top of the floor piece. The flaps then come up and Velcro to the sides. Then you insert the rails. 2 of the rails go directly through the walls and the other 2 fit between them. This is what frames and steadies the box.
